Andre began drumming at the age of six, quickly developing a passion that would shape his lifelong career in music. During his high school years, he performed in the marching band, concert symphony band, and his own group, Rock Bottom, gaining valuable live performance experience across a range of styles. At age fifteen, Andre began studying under renowned percussionist Frank Guigure, further advancing his technical skill and musical foundation.

Andre went on to attend the University of Tampa, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Performance. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles and toured extensively with several bands, including Plastik and The Options. While in Southern California, he also taught private music lessons in Santa Monica, Hollywood, Redondo Beach, and surrounding cities. His professional work expanded to include studio session recording and regular performances for local churches.

Eventually returning to Connecticut, Andre dedicated himself to sharing his expertise and enthusiasm for music with students of all ages. With over 32 years of teaching experience in both formal and informal settings—including drum clinics—he continues to inspire musicians to develop their craft, creativity, and confidence behind the kit.
